Fans celebrate 'poetic justice' as Tyreek Hill fumble leads to Chiefs touchdown in 'wildest play of
Tyreek Hill's first game against the Kansas City Chiefs since his 2022 trade to the Miami Dolphins did not go to plan.
The star wide receiver is on course to break Calvin Johnson's NFL single-season record for most receiving yards after a scintillating start to the year.
But the Cheetah's quest for history hit a major roadblock as he faced off against his former employers in Frankfurt, Germany.
Hill had promised the Chiefs would "get this work!", but the 29-year-old's pre-game promise came back to bite him in humiliating fashion.
With Miami trailing 14-0 late on in the first half, Hill received a short pass from Tua Tagovailoa just inside Chiefs territory.
A brutal hit from Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie dislodged the ball, allowing safety Mike Edwards to pick up the loose ball.

Desperate to atone for his error, Hill managed to tackle Edwards but was powerless to prevent the Chiefs safety from dumping the ball off to the nearby Bryan Cook with an outlandish lateral pass.
Cook scampered up the sideline all the way for six points to give the Chiefs a commanding 21-0 lead.
In a cruel twist of fate, the man who forced the fumble joined the Chiefs as part of the trade package that saw Hill move to the Miami Dolphins.
The irony was not lost on one fan, who wrote: "The Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill for draft picks. They got one first-round pick in the trade. They used that pick on Trent McDuffie.

"In their first meeting against Tyreek, McDuffie just ripped the ball from Hill to blow the game wide open!"
Another fan wrote on X: "Trent McDuffie, the main player the Chiefs got in the Tyreek trade, forcing a Hill fumble that turned into a razzle-dazzle pick six is god-tier schadenfreude."
The play capped a stellar first-half for the Chiefs D, becoming the first defensive unit in 40 games to keep the Dolphins scoreless through the first two quarters.
The Chiefs resisted the threat of a late Dolphins comeback to prevails 21-14.
Reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas improve to 7-2 on the season with victory over Miami.
